Digital Marketing Freelancer

PROJECT BRIEF

The project will support delivery of our digital marketing output. Specifically, the project aims to lead the planning and delivery of digital marketing content across our social channels; maintain and update website content; create newsletters and support new and ongoing digital events and projects.

We are looking for someone passionate about creating engaging and innovative content, drawing inspiration from the young people, delivery partners and 17 countries that we operate in.

Project duration: 6 weeks (with possibility of extension)

Start: ASAP (mid-September 2022)

Full time and part-time availability considered

AIMS

Working with the Communications and External Affairs team:

  1. Digital Media – devise, schedule and report on content across our social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn to ensure quality, engaging output for our audiences.
  2. Website – maintain and update content on our website, working with the wider organisation to ensure quality and consistency of materials.
  3. Newsletter – gather, produce and schedule content for our monthly newsletter.
  4. Digital Events – support the programmes and fundraising team with online events to engage partners and supporters.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

➔ Demonstrable knowledge of managing external digital media channels for high-profile organisations.

➔ Technical knowledge of managing newsletter platform, WordPress and analytical reporting.

➔ First class copywriting and editing skills.

➔ Demonstratable creative design/ editing skills.

➔ Demonstrable knowledge of GDPR / data-protection and the safeguarding of vulnerable groups.

➔ Working knowledge of the issues facing young people globally as well as experience of/ an interest in a range of cultures.

➔ Highly organised with an ability to work under pressure, overcoming obstacles and managing high/fluctuating workloads to meet deadlines.
