He is also Principal Benefactor and Founding Principal Benefactor of our ‘Generation Potential’ campaign. This campaign marks our 10th anniversary as we aim to support 1 million young people directly over the next decade including through the expansion of our digital reach.
Outside of KTI, Omar is the International Board Member of World Wide Technology, the largest privately owned technology company in the USA. He brings over 25 years of global tech industry experience and has spearheaded transformative initiatives across the UK, Europe, the USA and the Middle East. He also serves on the boards of several U.S.-owned companies at the forefront of emerging technology.
Omar brings a values-led perspective, shaped by a distinguished British–African heritage founded upon service, stewardship, and responsibility. Descended from a family that made enduring contributions to Kenya’s development in the years preceding independence across vital sectors including the railway infrastructure and the armed forces, he upholds a legacy marked by integrity, foresight, and profound respect for both people and place, committed to a better tomorrow for all.
