As we reflect on the impact of the past year, it is clear that Omar Mir, the King’s Trust International Advisor on AI and Advanced Technology and Principal Benefactor of our Generation Potential campaign, has had a tremendous impact on our work and mission.
Omar’s input has supported our thinking on how Artificial Intelligence can be more deliberately integrated across our products, ways of working, and wider digital ambitions, helping us sharpen our approach, and providing useful challenge and direction as we advance our digital transformation strategy.
This influence is already visible in the evolution of our Enterprise Challenge (EC) game. Omar and his global network have facilitated a more structured consideration of AI integration, allowing KTI’s team to properly scope opportunities to strengthen engagement, improve adaptability to local contexts, and ensure the product remains accessible and fit for purpose.
This work aligns closely with the findings of King’s Trust International’s 2025 Future of Work Report, ‘A Digital Disconnection?,’ which underscores the need to equip young people with relevant digital and AI-enabled skills as the global workforce continues to change. By applying these insights in practice, we are aiming to ensure that digital innovation translates into real opportunity and inclusion.
We truly value Omar Mir’s incredible contribution, which has helped move key areas of work forward and strengthened our capacity to innovate in support of our mission.
