Michael Nartey

In his current role he is responsible for the Securitised Products Solutions business for EMEA at the bank. He also sits on several governance committees across the Corporate and Investment Bank.

Michael joined Barclays in 2011 and during his time at the bank has held several leadership roles within the Markets Division including leading Commodities Distribution in EMEA and Cross Asset Solutions globally.

Prior to Barclays, Michael worked at Goldman Sachs where he spent 15 years in a variety of senior roles in the European Distribution business.

Michael is a Chartered Accountant (England & Wales) by profession and holds an MBA from the London Business School.

Michael is an investor and board advisor to an early-stage cancer detection start-up, has served on the Board of Governors at the University of East London and currently serves as a trustee for The King’s Trust International.

Michael is married with 2 adult sons and lives in London.
