Naushad is CEO of Queensway Group, a family-owned international hospitality group. Naushad has been involved in all aspects of the business since the 1980s, bringing some 40 years’ experience in the hospitality, leisure, and property sectors in the UK and internationally.

Naushad has volunteered within the structures of the Ismaili community and Aga Khan Development Network (“AKDN”) from a young age. From 1997 to 2000, he served as a member of the Aga Khan Foundation (UK) National Committee, a leading global development organisation working to address the root causes of poverty. He went on to serve as Chairperson of the Aga Khan Economic Planning Board for the UK from 2002 to 2008. From 2008 to 2019, he was Chairman of Focus Humanitarian Assistance Europe Foundation (FOCUS), an affiliate of the AKDN, dedicated to saving lives, reducing suffering, and supporting communities in the immediate aftermath of natural and man-made disasters.

In 2019, Naushad was appointed President of His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for the United Kingdom jurisdiction, which includes the United Kingdom, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, and Sweden. In this voluntary role, he is responsible for the social welfare of the Ismaili Muslim community, which is ethnically and culturally diverse. As President, he also serves as ex-officio member of Aga Khan Foundation (UK) National Committee.

Naushad graduated from Stetson University and completed the Owners President Management Programme at Harvard Business School in 2015, giving him a unique perspective on management,
strategy, and culture.

Naushad is married with four children and three grandchildren and lives in London.
